Reflection: Intervention and Extension Greedy Triangle - Section 3: Closer


Although I think this was an enriching activity for students, I could have extended the learning by having students write a caption for their illustration.  Sometimes it is difficult to see every level of differentiation for an activity.  In this lesson, I think a caption would have been a meaningful extension for students excelling at identifying shapes in the everyday world.

Big Idea: When we look closely, we can see that our world is made of shapes, repeated over and over again.
