## Reflection: Perseverance Problem Solving with Triangles - Section 2: Problem solving

Today when I returned to my class I was amazed at what my students had accomplished on Solving Problems involving Triangles worksheet.  The substitute had left me copies of the work the students shared in class.

I have 2 examples of work the students did as a class. Problem 1 shows how the students were thinking.  The note I received from the substitute indicated that the students were discussing and critiquing the work.  This is a great example of the students doing MP1, MP2, and MP3.  I am looking forward to hearing there thoughts on the work.

The other example 2 is from a student that does not usually share his work.  You can see that he is trying to really model the problem.  This is question #2 from the worksheet.  The student has a good model for the situation.

Having these examples will help me work with the class as we continue solving problems involving triangles.
