Reflection: Routines and Procedures Detective Academy: Mystery Solvers - Section 3: Lesson Opener

 

As the kids came in from recess and saw the magnifying glasses on their desks, they got a little TOO excited about them and started using them as swords and guns.  I had to reign them in quickly and establish rules.  I asked them to leave the magnifying glasses on the table until instructed to use them and then they must be used properly. "Detectives" have strict guidelines to follow.  They were super excited about the activity and had no problem complying.
