Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding The Importance of Seeds - Section 5: Station 3: Testing your power of prediction

At the beginning of this lesson, students make a prediction at the beginning of the lab.  After gaining some preliminary knowledge about the differences in seeds, students are asked to revise their prediction.  Then students gain some more information and are asked draw to a conclusion and make an explanation based on information learned in the lab.  By using this method, student refine their naive thinking and dispel any misconceptions.  I explain my reasoning for using this strategy in this teaching reflection.
