## Reflection: Student Grouping Review Day - Section 2: Group Activity- Pass The Card

This activity works better in small groups. With a full sized class of 20 plus, I would divide the class into 2 groups of 10 instead of one large group of 20 at a time. An additional modification I made was to the number of cards in rotations. The lesson calls for 1 card at a time after one period I changed this to 2 cards at a time. I found there wasn’t enough support and differentiation to help struggling students. So if a student got a challenging card and was stuck they would be just sitting, waiting for assistance. To prevent the unproductive downtime, they had an alternative card they could work on.
