## Reflection: Real World Applications Describing Data - Day 1 of 2 - Section 3: Closing

Each time I teach this lesson, I am surprised at how difficult it is for students to describe their data set. I am always hopeful that they will start to get creative about describing their data, but they seem stuck on remembering past experiences and usually stick to the basics like range and mean. I am trying to think of ways to get them to be more descriptive and might think about encouraging them to display the data visually.
