Reflection: Students with Disabilities Unit Portfolio - Day 2 of 2 - Section 2: Investigation

Students who need help chunking assignments in order to work to completion will find the portfolio checklist to be useful.  I help them pull out and organize their work, and create a timeline for them to complete the portfolio.  There are many ways to extend the math portfolio for students who are ready to do more.  I ask them to include more work, answer essential questions about the work, tie different concepts together, or present their portfolio to a panel in a symposium-like format.
