Reflection: Continuous Assessment Living vs. Non-Living - Section 5: Evaluate


To take this lesson one step further, I asked students to complete a Venn Diagram comparison of living versus non-living things.  They were to use information from the lesson and from their prior knowledge.  

Before assigning the task, I make sure they understand what a Venn Diagram is and how to complete it, then I deliver the task's specific set of instructions.  The student sample seen here, student venn diagram sample, shows how the student used the descriptions for living and non-living directly from the lesson's notes.
