Reflection: Adaptive Technology Types of Consumers - Section 5: Evaluate


Students love games, especially Internet games!  I try to incorporate them when they are relevant to the content.  It gives the students a chance to review and apply the material in a format that they love and find entertaining.  Sometimes, they get caught up in the competitive aspect of the games.  It's important to bring them back to the content and ask questions that reinforce their understanding, "how do you know it's a carnivore?"

Big Idea: By analyzing the teeth of animals, students infer information about the animals' diets.
