Reflection: Lesson Planning Life Cycles Lesson 6: Examining the Life Cycle of the Sea Turtle - Section 4: Explore

I created the PowerPoint for this lesson, with the idea that none of my students had ever seen a sea turtle. I purposely added videos and images that would help bring the academic content to life. I believe that this helped make my lesson a success. My students got a clearer picture of what the life cycle of the sea turtle is like because I took the extra time to create a visual aid designed to supplement the academic content  so that it could be understood more easily.

When you can't take a field trip, images and film clips help bring the content to life.
