Reflection: Coherence Fashion a Bird : Day 1 - Section 1: Engage

Using video effectively to teach is an easy way to get a lot packed into a short amount of time! Using video for instruction should not be viewed as a lazy way of teaching because with SB technology, the teacher can be easily and actively working to help students achieve quick understanding, develop questions, and drive the inquiry deeper because of the visual stimuli. It addresses all student's learning and helps create a foundation for those who struggle with reading and research skills. I love it. I especially love Animal Atlas because it makes this strategy so engaging and easy!
