Reflection: Complex Tasks Photosynthesis...How it All Works - Section 6: Evaluate

This lesson was a really challenging and difficult lesson.  I knew going into that it would be hard for my students.  I knew that visually my students could understand the concept of how the plant obtained food to survive.  Verbally explaining the process was going to be the challenge. Mostly because the language was higher level...oxygen and carbon dioxide were hard for them to grasp.

I worked hard to try and make the lesson as simplified as I could.  The diagram was challenging, but I was happy that they were able to understand the important elements of the sun and the water.  The oxygen and carbon dioxide elements will fall into place in later learning.
