The “Do Now Work “allowed the students to define the meaning of the terms attract and repel. In defining these words, students demonstrated an understanding of the terms associated with magnets. This also helped students visualize how magnets work. The level of understanding demonstrated on the “Do Now Work” indicated that students would be successful on the assessment.
