Reflection: Performance Tasks Power Up! - Section 3: Design

 

It's important that students understand that the Engineering Design Process, is just that, a process, just like the writing process.  This is why my students must work through each step, including their research and other designs.  By reinforcing the process, rather than the product, it helps students focus on refining their ideas, rather than coming up with one perfect idea.
