Reflection: Student Ownership Looking At Solids - Section 2: Engage

 

In completing the K-W-H-L chart, I noticed that some of my students understood the three states of matter, but they have limited knowledge about how you can describe the properties of matter.  Also, they did not discuss how matter has mass and how they could measure it.  The K-W-H-L helped to drive my instruction, so I can best serve my students.
