Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Creating a Survey - Section 6: Evaluate

The students used many ways to evaluate. I was shocked. They had yes or no bubbles, happy faces or sad face, checks or x's, and circling the one you want. These were their strategies to get the information using their poster survey. The students really did not understand that we needed to know how they were going to use the survey. In this video: exemplar work I am asking how we will use this survey as I had to ask each child who shared their survey. They wanted to explain the parts, but they struggled in their presentations to share the strategy they were using. I think I should have been more clear that I need to see their strategy.
