Reflection: Adjustments to Practice Volcano Art and Writing Project - Section 3: Write

 

When we were writing our informational papers we started with a topic sentence and wrote down facts about volcanoes.  But I didn't have the kids write a conclusive sentence to wrap the writing up.  Next year I will make sure to do this so the writing is more complete.

Objective: SWBAT write down facts that they have learned about volcanoes.

Big Idea: We have learned so much about volcanoes. Let's take that knowledge make a product that is an educational trifecta--blending science, art and writing!
