## Reflection: Gradual Release Rotated Conic Sections - Day 1 of 2 - Section 3: Summarize

Today we just scratched the surface of rotated conics. Many students were left wondering how we could find equations in the x'y' plane when the graph was not an easy 45 degrees like the one we started with today. I revisited this in the closure of the lesson and told students that tomorrow we would be using formulas to systematically find the equation instead of relying on the graphical representation.
