Reflection: Advanced Students How do my eyes work? - Section 5: Elaborate

 

I had one student who began drawing the model of the box, and then she drew a model of an eye. This brought me to the conclusion that I should have allows all the early finishers to illustrate the box model. Then they could also created a list of how the human eye and the box are different.

Big Idea: Allow the class to construct a model similar to the human eye, and give students the opportunity to develop an understanding of how we see.
