Reflection: Joy Ratios and Double Number Lines - Section 5: Closing and Exit Ticket

 

I send a version of this document out to my students, via Google Drive, so that they always have options for math games to play at home.  I edit the document throughout the year, so that the options generally match what we're working on or what I want students to review.  I add notes and challenges with my own high scores, too...kids love to try to beat me.

Objective: SWBAT express equivalent ratios that compare two parts with different units, by creating double number lines

Big Idea: Double number lines can help make visible that there are many, even infinitely many, pairs in the same ratio, including those with rational numbers.
