I am including an example of a student drawing.  Many of the students were able to create a suitable representation of how sound travels through the ear.  This example demonstrates a student exhibiting a sound understanding of the information presented by the speaker.

Objective: SWBAT gain information about how the ear works through the use of a guest speaker.

Big Idea: Today a guest speaker will present information about how the ear works. Through the use of a giant model, the students will see how sound waves travel through the ear.
