Reflection: Adaptive Technology It's All in the Media....Penguins are Everywhere!! - Section 3: Day One

Because technology is used so often in our classroom, the children have no troubles beginning and digging in to the learning with the Smart Board and the class Moodle site.  Without the background of using this technology, I do not believe these stations would have worked as smoothly as they did.

The Moodle site is a fantastic tool for the students.  It is not used readily by many of my colleagues in my school district, but it is one I find I cannot teach without.  It offers my students an easy avenue to quickly navigate through sites that I want to utilize for teaching without making it difficult to access. It is handy to have all my teaching sites located in one place.

I also appreciate the safety of the Moodle site.  Students are not able to navigate away from sites to wander and surf, they must stay on the site or activity that is linked to the page.  This gives me the piece of mind that they are safe and learning at the same time.
