Reflection: Writing Across the Disciplines My Favorite Rock - Section 3: Let's Write and Draw

The graphic organizer helped students to organize their thoughts before they write. I developed questions for the students to answer because it helped them to write complete sentences. The questions helped my low performer students because they could pull words from the question sentences. I have taught them how to use words from the page to assist with writing. Also, the graphic organizer helps students to develop a main idea and details to develop a coherent paragraph. Overall the graphic organizer helped the students to develop a paper that reflected what they learned about rocks.
