Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding The Mighty, Mighty Triangle - Section 3: Explore

Using a kinesthetic approach to teach a difficult concept of stability really made sense to me.  My students were able to work manually with the ideas that they might have grappled with.  It is no secret that my class is rambunctious and needs lots of activity.  Using movement to help them learn the concept worked very well.  It was so fun to see when the light went on when the students were not able to make the other person sway when the legs were apart.  As we continue to talk about stability in future lesson, I think they will be able to remember and apply the concept.
