Reflection: Backwards Planning Energy Review - Section 1: Why We Review?

At this time of year, we have snowy and cold weather and often can not go out for recess. I plan games and activities like this for those days when outside play is not an option. I set up the game and we review or play as a class in order to create a break from our normal routine. Sometimes I will allow only part of the class to play while the others enjoy free time. This usually only happens when we have consecutive days on indoor recess.

Energy Review

Unit 3: Magnets, Energy and Assessment
Lesson 5 of 9

Objective: SWBAT play Jeopardy to review the concepts we have learned in our energy unit to get them ready for the assessment.

Big Idea: With so many concepts covered, it is important to review and check understanding before administering an assessment. Jeopardy is a fun way to review and done right can have everyone engaged.
