Reflection: Lesson Planning Observable Properties Investigation - Section 4: Wrap Up


Reflecting back on this lesson, it is definitely not a favorite because we do not have access to a refrigerator or freezer within the classroom. This made the lesson difficult because the entire class had to walk with me to the staff lounge to get the frozen containers. I could not get the containers prior to beginning the lesson because they would have melted.

Unit 6: Changes to Physical Properties
Lesson 3 of 9

Objective: Students will be able to investigate and collect data on the different changes to the observable properties of objects or materials when cooled.

Big Idea: Students will identify how cooling affects the observable properties of different liquids.
