Reflection: Classroom Setup Getting to Know You - Graphing Practice - Section 3: Explore


While this activity gives students a chance to practice graphing, it also supplies me with important information about my students.  The students print out the graphs they create for this activity and they place their graphs in the inner cover of their science journal.  I go through each of the journals and review the students' results both on the learning styles inventory and the multiple intelligences survey.  I use a color coding system to highlight my seating chart based on the students' learning styles.  I refer back to this information when I am planning lessons and when I am grouping students.
