Reflection: Learning Communities Layers of the Mountains - Section 2: Explore


Sometimes the teams don't always see eye to eye on how they are going to proceed with their work. I try not to jump and solve the problems or issues at hand when this comes up.  It is really important that the children learn how to troubleshoot these things on their own.

Kids don't really appreciate being told that they are not getting along. If you explain to them that this is something that even scientists need to work on, they are more likely to work on the solutions to work out their differences in a much more civilized and respectful way.
