Reflection: Perseverance Levels of Organization - Flipped - Section 3: Explore

On the surface level, the students find this activity difficult.  Once they read the instructions and the descriptors thoroughly, they find the activity to be much easier.  Several of the descriptions contain the names of the organs they belong to.  In addition, if the students answer incorrectly twice, the page gives them the correct answers.  Many of my students failed to read the correct answers and completed the activity numerous times until they had the correct answers.

One of the reasons I selected this online activity is because of its use of pictures.  While the students complete the activity, they are able to view the structures of various tissues and cells and read the descriptions of the functions of each.
