Reflection: Student Feedback Animals Live on Land - Section 3: Explore

The students enjoyed investigating the worms. They noticed that the worm felt wet and slimy. One group stated that worms can help soil because it can tunnel through the soil. Also, worms assist plants and it should be placed in soil to promote growth. I was excited about their discovery. It was an amazing moment to spotlight.

When the class moves to Earth Science, I am going to permit them to create a compost pile. When the items begin to decay, we will place worms in the pile to see what happens.
