Reflection: Continuous Assessment Comparing Regional Temperatures - Day 1 - Section 3: Explain

 

During a quick conversation with this student, I'm able to determine that she recognizes that Tucson differes from Buffalo because our daily temperatures have been consistently above the freezing point.  Her at-a-glance calculation of the difference (she says 20 degrees) is off by approximately 10 degrees but she is close enough for me to determine that she is reading the graph correctly and understands what she's looking at.  I make a note that she recognizes that Tucson is much warmer than the freezing point and that Buffalo has been at or below the freezing point for most of the past week.
