Reflection: Submitting Essays Digitally and All That It Entails, Day 1 of 2 - Section 4: Students Continue Drafting

The computers in the library can connect to the internet, but did not allow my students to use Google Docs, for an unknown reason. The librarian had no idea how to fix this so she called tech support for assistance and was able to speak with someone but nothing was resolved during this period. We had to create a plan B on the spot, which was for students to type on Microsoft Word and save it on a flash drive, if they happened to have one on them, or to email it to themselves as an attachment. I quickly gave them directions for this and had to help a few students email it to themselves during lunch.
