As the students are explaining the results of each scenario and why it happened, I check in with each student to make sure that they are explaining the "Why."  It it important that they are explaining why and connecting to concepts from previous lessons.  I have included an example of the check in (Why boys won?).

Objective: SWBAT understand that an object will move in the direction of the largest force.

Big Idea: Continuing from the previous day's lesson, the students will now participate in a few games of tug of war and apply concepts of force and motion into their learning and discovery.
