Reflection: Conferencing Student Innovation and Inquiry Conference (SIIC) - Section 4: Wrap Up

I was very excited to implement this lesson because this a very new technique in our curriculum. I really enjoyed being able to witness my students conference with each other and share ideas. I did have to model examples of some appropriate questions in the beginning because students were a little confused because we had never done this type of conferencing before. Overall, it was a great lesson and it provided students the opportunity to converse with one another; rather than listening to me. The conference was student led and turned out amazing!
