Reflection: Intrinsic Motivation Wondering About the Water (Day 2) - Section 2: Experience Learning

During my lessons, I do a lot of talking about "what I do" at home or outside of school.  I really want kids to learn in this part of the lesson that it's a great idea to be reflective, to be thinking later in the day about what they learned at school.  I will comment often to my students abut my thoughts at other times, saying things like, "Do you know that I thought about last night?", or "You'll never believe what I thought about today on my way to school!"  I want my students to really become life long learners, and thinkers, and so I love to ask about what thoughts they had outside of the school day often, as well as share my own!
