Reflection: Developing a Conceptual Understanding Cellular City - A Closer Look at Cell Structure - Section 2: Explore

 

The use of analogies has always been a go to strategy when I'm teaching cell biology.  Cells are an abstract concept due to their microscopic size and as a result comparing it to something students are more familiar with is very beneficial.  The use of Cell City allows me as a teacher to link the science content to their everyday lives.
