Reflection: Data Analysis Photosynthesis: Follow up - Section 7: Independent Assessment

 

I felt ok about the results on this test.  Students scored an average of 76% in one class and 65% in the other.  The hardest question for the students was counting the atoms.  This indicates that students cannot do this skill and don't have the background information to guess based on the conservation of mass.  I'm going to need to work on this in next couple of days.  Even if students can't figure out the counting, I really want them to see that the molecules are simply being rearranged.
