Reflection: Rigor In and Out of Cells Day 1 - Section 4: Explore

The ACE strategy for answering questions takes time to master. Although the students have moved from giving answers in incomplete sentences, to at least attempting to provide explanations (student work 1student work 2 student work 3), their evidence, if present at all, is weak. As we move forward, I will continue to push for detailed explanations using evidence. I plan to provide this support using sentence frames, as the students progress towards mastery of the ACE strategy.
