Reflection: Complex Tasks Minute To Win It: Stories about Separating - Section 4: Independent Practice


I am a work in progress and so are my lessons.  Watch my video narrative reflection in the resource section.  My students had trouble with the steps necessary for the game.  What you can garner from my mistake is to hold the action with the cubes until they have both spun and written the problem.  So the new steps could be; partner A spins, write the number, partner B spins, write the number, then partner A grabs the cubes necessary and B takes whatever amount away and the problem is solved.

Try this if you have the same trouble that I did.
