Reflection: High Expectations Responding to Events 3 - Section 5: Collaborative

 

As I was walking around talking to students today, I found one group that had some massive misconceptions about what we were testing.  

This just proves how important it is to have clarity of purpose when explaining an investigation.  This group knew how to set up the investigation, they were taking data, and performing an experiment.  But they didn't understand the purpose and so collected the "wrong" type of data.  Always a frustrating moment as a teacher.
