Reflection: Pre-Tests Summer Storms - Individual Experience - Section 4: Active Engagement

This is an example of one reading what she wrote about our recent stormy weather. This type of writing sample gives me information about student motivation/engagement with the topic, and their ability to follow through with ideas, write fluent sentences, and to use varied, specific, accurate and engaging vocabulary.  This child likes to write and can write in clear, complete sentences so my next job is to help her build up her scientific and general vocabulary bank so she can describe what she observes with additional, specific details.
