Reflection: Accountability Rough Draft Day - Section 1: Anticipatory Set

I have continually struggled, apparently against the tide it seems sometimes, to change the culture that the students want to embrace. This culture requires no planning or pre-writing, and it also considers a first draft to be the same as a final draft. So, with every opportunity I have, I really make sure to break down the pieces so I am able to monitor it more closely and really make them work through this important process.
