Reflection: Modeling Summarizing with Key Ideas - Section 2: Shared Reading

 

I really enjoy doing "Shared Reading" with students. This is an opportunity for students to interact with the modeling process. This time with students gives us an opportunity to explore reading strategies with authentic texts. The goal is for students to see strategies at work with real literature.
