Reflection: Student Ownership Describe a Plant-Revise and Peer Edit - Section 2: Polishing it up -Revising

 

Each morning,  my students complete a Daily Language activity sheet as my Do Now Work. They are allowed to use editing marks to correct their work. However, I noticed that my students are still having difficulty with properly identifying the different kinds of sentences as you can see in the picture, editing.  The students used a period instead of  question mark. I asked the student: Can you respond to the question? If you can, it is a question sentence. We will continue to work on this skill in isolation.
