Reflection: Real World Applications Leprechaun Ladders - Section 1: Introduction/Attention Grabber

I love Pinterest. It's no secret. Just as I love Diet Coke and chocolate, I LOVE Pinterest! My favorite thing is to find cute, festive ideas and make them educational, and I'm pleased that this activity came from my hobby.

We are LOVING our magic leprechaun buddies and our efforts to catch them, so making ladders for the leprechauns--conveniently numbered with sequential teen numbers--is the perfect blend of festive, fun, and careful teen number practice. This type of activity brings in a fun factor that gets children excited about learning, which makes the most of our practice time.
