Reflection: Intrinsic Motivation Day 1: Parachute Project Introduction - Section 3: Explore

Today was such a great reminder of how inquisitive and motivated most students already are when it comes to the engineering process! Students excitedly came to school today, asking, "Do we get to start our parachute designs today?!"

As students opened their box full of parachute building supplies, it was almost as exciting as opening a birthday present! They carefully counted each item and made sure that all supplies were returned to the box for tomorrow. One student wanted to know if he could take the list of supplies home and begin investigating tonight!
