Reflection: Discourse and Questioning Rosa Parks Socratic Seminar - Section 3: Socratic Seminar

My kids always blow me away during seminar. They really ask great questions and think deep about what we're reading. Not every kid is a master at this yet, but I'm so proud of how far they've all come. The kids are excited to read because they are excited to come to group to discuss thoughts. They always walk away with an idea they never thought of before. They totally got to the idea that Rosa new a Supreme Court decision would make much bigger news than the little local court where she started. I never even hinted at it. It was amazing to watch them deliberate and discuss.
