Reflection: Staircase of Complexity "Fish Cheeks" Plot Line - Section 1: Identify Parts of the Plot Line


After the discussion of Fish Cheeks over the past few days, students were quite familiar with the relevance of one event leading into another.  However, we have not identified literary elements in an unfamiliar narrative this year.  By allow students to practice in their small groups, those not quite understanding a plot line were able to get clarification before beginning the next activity.
