Reflection: Advanced Students Element i-movies - Section 1: Introduction

Because I have a two hour block for each class, the last 20 minutes of class is supposed to be intervention time.   This means that I will work more closely with struggling students on current work, allow for retakes, makeups, etc.

I have found that there is usually only a small subset of students who need this time and that advanced students will simply start their homework because they do not have anything that they need help with.   Therefore, it is really nice to have a project for students to work on.

With Unit 2 I have the i-movie project as a staple for students to work on at the end of class when we have extra time.  This allows students to work on their projects with their groups and gives me time to work with the few students who need extra help with content or need to do makeup work.
