Reflection: Grappling with Complexity Documenting with Drawing: Sketches-diagrams and labels - Section 5: Evaluate

 

After we practice a few more activities with sketching and labeling, I will add another layer to my lessons. I will begin to integrate more writing.  My focus will be to use writing as another way for scientists to share and communicate their observations and results in investigations. Students will learn how to describe the object and bring in prior background knowledge.

Objective: SWBAT draw a simple diagram.

Big Idea: Learning to document what a scientists views is important to the process of recording data. Diagrams are another element to the recording process.
